Hi there, We would like to share with you how our Hummingbird Bottle feeder came to life. This family project started from our mother/grandmother Jean's love for hummingbirds. Mom enjoyed sitting on her porch watching these amazing creatures frequent during the day. Our eco-conscience hummingbird feeder was conceived when our son was in his fourth year of college pursuing a mechanical engineering degree. It began as a simple recycled cardboard and cloth prototype that advanced into a family joint effort to risk the expense of an injection mold and the manufacturing of our attractive neoprene bottle sleeve design. Many cultures have assigned deep spiritual significance and symbolic meaning to these beautiful, acrobatic, brave little birds that symbolize Messengers of the Angels. Many perceive them as magical beings, who temporarily return the spirits of deceased loved ones for a visit. Our mother/grandmother Jean passed away in April of 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Seeing firsthand the care, love, and support that we received through hospice, we are donating a portion of our sales to the Hospice Foundation of America in honor of our Angel Jean who got us started on this journey.
